Policies, and Platforms *

The India International Centre (IIC), the National Committee-CODATA
appointed by Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Pune Knowledge Cluster
(PKC) and Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University are jointly
organizing an International Conference on Open and FAIR Data Ecosystem:
Principles, Policies, and Platforms scheduled from 11th -13th September
2023, at IIC New Delhi.

Also supporting this event as Knowledge Partners are CODATA - Committee on
Data of the International Science Council (ISC), Paris and the Open Health
Systems Laboratory (OHSL), USA.

The conference will address important issues in data science and help
identify the major thrust points in the area. Discussions will be relevant
to open science and open data, FAIR practices, research data management,
ethics, licensing, stewardship, science education and training, data
research infrastructures, and data platforms. These aspects will be
specifically taken up in the context of these specific verticals: National
Health, Agri-Tech, Ocean & Atmospheric Science, Digital Humanities (which
includes Social Sciences), Data and Policy, and Digital Twins. Conclusions
from the meeting should be useful in identifying existing impediments in
some of the major socio-economically relevant disciplines and mobilizing
efforts for better data harnessing and capturing.

We would like to invite you to participate and contribute a paper/poster at
this conference. The interested participants are requested to send their
extended abstract for papers/posters by email to
OpenFAIRdata.conf at pkc.org.in latest by 14th August 2023. For details about
the abstract please see below. After the review by the screening committee,
the confirmation will be sent by 25th August 2023 to the paper/poster
contributors regarding acceptance.

*General Information: *

1.     The abstract length should be a maximum of 500 words.

2.     Please Use Headings in Times Roman 12 Bold; text in 12 Times Roman
normal

3.     While formatting use single space for the Heading and its
corresponding text; and 1.5 spaces between next Heading.

4.     Mail your abstract by 14th August 2023 at:

5.     The confirmation regarding acceptance for the paper
presentation/poster will be sent through email on 25th & 26th August 2023.
