ICPSR is an international consortium of more than 750 academic 
institutions and research organizations. ICPSR generates, maintains, 
and provides access to the world's largest archive of computerized 
social science data; conducts training programs for the analysis of 
quantitative social science data; and provides resources for social 
scientists using large data sets. Maintaining a repository of more 
than 9,000 data collections in the social and behavioral sciences, 
ICPSR hosts 20 specialized topical archives organized around data in 
education, criminal justice, aging, drug abuse, demography and others 
fields. ICPSR is one of five research centers of the Institute for 
Social Research at the University of Michigan, the world's largest 
academic social science survey and research organization.
