[CODATA-international] UNESCO Global Consultations on Open Science

Dear Geoffrey,
Dear Jan,
Dear Simon,

I apologize for being late to the party, but this all came to the fore at
the start of Japanese Golden Week, and so I am only now online again after
a 'staycation'.

Please note that the World Data System (WDS) of the International Science
Council has also been invited to join the UNESCO Open Science Partnership,
and in this regard it would it make sense for WDS to help lead on the
official statement mention in (2) alongside ISC, CODATA, and ICSTI (as well
as RDA and GO FAIR under the Data Together umbrella).

We will likewise be encouraging our community to respond to the
questionnaire.

Best wishes,
Rorie

----
