The first purpose of the virtual General Assembly will be to review the
outcomes of the matters for voting. These include constitutional changes
recommended by the Officers and Executive Committee (as outlined in the
appendix to the letter from the CODATA President); and approval of proposed
composition of the Nominating Committee.

These matters for voting will be handled via an online voting platform
Election Runner ahead of the virtual General Assembly. Delegates to the
virtual General Assembly received detailed information on the matters for
voting and an invitation to cast their votes electronically.

The second purpose of the virtual General Assembly will be to provide an
opportunity to update the delegates and membership on CODATA's activities
and achievements in 2020 and to highlight key activities and dates in 2021.
