CESSDA Webinar: The GDPR and research one year on: experiences across Europe
27 June 2017, 3pm CET (2pm BST)
One year since the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), what changes did it bring for research, data archiving and data sharing? How have researchers and institutions implemented the GDPR? Are there differences between countries? Are you as a researcher confused about how to apply the GDPR in practice in your research? And how is the GDPR applied in practice in cross-national collaborative projects?
A panel of data protection specialists from the CESSDA network will share their experiences with the GDPR implementation, point to practical guidance, and will answer all your questions. Brief presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion. Questions can be presented to the panel in advance of the webinar, via training at cessda.eu, or during the webinar.
