Subject: [CODATA-international] ESIP Data Citation Guidelines, version 2

Hi all,

The "Data Citation Guidelines for Earth Science Data. Ver. 2.” have been unanimously endorsed by the ESIP Assembly (at least among those that voted) and are now published:

ESIP Data Preservation and Stewardship Committee. 2019. Data Citation Guidelines for Earth Science Data. Ver. 2. Earth Science Information Partners.https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.8441816.

Spread the word!

This is a major milestone. These guidelines provide the basis for most all Earth science-related journals. See https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1451971

cheers,

-m.
