<div style="font-family: Arial;">We would like to draw your attention to the Big Data and Analytics Summer School which will take place at the University of Essex, Colchester campus from 5-16 September 2016.</div>

<div style="font-family: Arial;">The Summer School is being organised by the Institute for Analytics and Data Science and is open to both internal and external delegates.</div>

<div style="font-family: Arial;">Data is the gold rush for the 21st Century. Smart phones, social media, the Internet, apps, devices, sensors, smart cards, telematics and GPS are changing how we interact with the world around us and each other. Some predictions
put the rate of growth of data between 2013 to 2020 at over 200% a year with an estimate that by 2020 there will be more than 16 zettabytes of useful data (16 trillion GB). The big data and analytics market is growing six times faster than the ICT market,
according to the IDC.</div>

<div style="font-family: Arial;">Our summer school is for graduates, postgraduates, researchers and professionals in the emerging fields of big data, data science and analytics who would like to find out more or be updated on the current trends and developments
