[CODATA-international] VizAfrica Conference Coming Soon, 5-7 February 2024

The VizAfrica 2024 Conference will take place from 5th -7th February 2024
at the African Institute for Capacity Development (AICAD) located at Jomo
Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Juja town in
Kenya  (https://www.aicad.or.ke/).  AICAD is currently hosting the Africa
Open Science Platform ( AOSP) East African Node whose aim is to support and
promote efforts aligned with implementation of open science programmes at a
regional level, strengthen knowledge networks and infrastructure access,
and enhance cooperation between regions and globally. VizAfrica 2024
Conference is an activity of the AOSP Node with the theme “Data stewardship
and use for scientific and socio-economic development.”

SPEAKERS:

The conference will explore many aspects of visualisation in relation to
the theme “Data stewardship and use for scientific and socio-economic
development.”

   1. Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
   2. Computer Graphics, Media and Animation
   3. Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Security
   4. Data Stewardship, Analytics, Visualization and IoTs
   5. Robotic Process Automation (RPA)- Artificial Intelligence/Machine
   Learning
   6. Policy Design, Analysis and Strategic Management
   7. E-Health and Universal Health Coverage

The conference also includes a five-day summer school training, a DEEP DIVE
into topics like Data Management, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning,
Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and the
Internet of Things!
