[CODATA-international] Contribute to a session at SciDataCon 2023

Hi all,

I am looking for interested people to join me in proposing & organising a session at SciDataCon 2023 (23 - 26 October, Salzburg) on conference Theme 2: "Honouring all actors working with data".

My idea was to showcase 4-5 examples of researchers, data stewards, data managers, policy advocates etc working together on / with data in projects, research groups, institutions; how this works in practice, can result in higher quality data / better use of data, the funding models that exist for this, etc. Followed by discussion on what makes for successful collaborations & equity, which funding models work or are needed, etc.

So far as contributions I have the "Book-a-data-manager" service rolled out at KU Leuven university, providing projects & research groups with flexible data management input in research; and the Drugs & (dis)order project with data collaboration of researchers, data managers, policy specialists, LMIC partners, UK partners through turbulent times.

Let me know if you're keen to join & have a presentation to contribute. Deadline to submit the proposal is 15 May.
