We cordially invite you to join our FAIR Data Day conference: Reusing data to advance science. The conference will be held Tuesday, 29 November 2022 at Jaarbeurs Media Plaza in Utrecht.
The FAIR Data Day 2022 is an event organised by the National Programme Open Science (NPOS<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/dtls.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3cef2d6f6da8f8059e2288298&id=7003d19190&e=a5d0e037c2__;!!PAKc-5URQlI!7XKw8ise1vX4EUQLD7IQACx8aE0gG1w9VF99HrCOZYuqyUVe26AJc0C7zupi42X55N9-H_11rDCzfFk$>) and Research Data Netherlands (RDNL)<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/dtls.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3cef2d6f6da8f8059e2288298&id=30e7face8b&e=a5d0e037c2__;!!PAKc-5URQlI!7XKw8ise1vX4EUQLD7IQACx8aE0gG1w9VF99HrCOZYuqyUVe26AJc0C7zupi42X55N9-H_112yIXDXA$>, which aims to bring together the research & data steward communities in the Netherlands. DTL is a partner in RDNL and highly endorses this event. The conference promises to be an exciting and thought-provoking day with motivational keynote speakers,  interactive parallel workshop sessions contributed by the community and an award ceremony of the Dutch Data Prize. Join your peers, researchers, data stewards and research software engineers to exchange and learn more about the advantages of reusing data in daily research practice! Registration for the FAIR Data Day is free of charge, and closes on the 15th of November. Please make sure to register well in advance as seats are limited.

Open Call for Workshop proposals, deadline 7 October 2022
Do you have an expertise or a training and capacity building technique that you are willing to share with the community?  Do you want to demonstrate how to implement FAIR data principles? Or do you have a clear vision on how to access sensitive data? Or other inspiring ideas on reusing data to advance science to share? If so, please submit a proposal for a workshop during the FAIR Data Day. We highly welcome proposals for interactive 1 hour workshops on topics related to (among others) FAIR Data and software, data stewardship, EOSC, digital competencies, Open Science, etc. Abstracts can be submitted  before 7 October 2022<https://www.aanmelder.nl/fairdataday/subscribe>.
