The International Geoethics Day will be held every year during the Earth Science Week. The aim of the International Geoethics Day is to raise the awareness of the geoscience community and society as a whole about the importance of ethical, social and cultural aspects of geoscience knowledge, research, practice, education and communication.


International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG) is a multidisciplinary, scientific community and aims at creating awareness about application of ethical principles to theoretical and practical aspects of Geosciences. IAPG works for a respectful stewardship of the Earth: our way to take care of future generations.
