I concur with all colleagues.
We CODATA worked intensively with many students and staffs of KPI and Ukrainian scientists for CODATA 2008 Kyiv before and  also after.
I am praying for their safety.

I long for world peace.
I am trying to do what I can do by myself.

As a former President, I welcome the CODATA statement. I include one below that I prepared recently for a European academies group:

Russia, by its actions, has turned its back on the international community, opting for war, death and destruction and without any rational excuse for its actions. As scientists we are profoundly dismayed by such acts, particularly  at a time when the overriding concern of humanity, of its states and of its scientists must be to collaborate in addressing the global, existential challenges that we all face. To our Ukrainian colleagues we offer our solidarity and willingness to support them in overcoming and recovering from this tragedy. To our Russian colleagues we express our deep dismay at the acts of their government and are encouraged to see that many of them also speak out against this war.”
