Dear all,

We invite you to consider submitting a paper to this session on Mapping the
Global Landscape of Geochemistry Initiatives and Databases
<https://www.scidatacon.org/IDW-2022/sessions/437/>

Geochemistry has practical applications in many disciplines including
environment, resources (groundwater, minerals, energy), geohealth, ocean,
and agriculture. Geochemistry is highly relevant to the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals, in particular to SDG#6 (Clean Water and
Sanitation); SDG#7 (Affordable and Clean Energy); SDG#8 (Decent Work and
Economic Growth); SDG#9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure); SDG#13
(Climate Action) and SDG#15 (Life on Land).

In this session we are seeking papers from any initiative anywhere around
the world that structures geochemical and isotopic data at any stage of the
research data cycle starting at the collection of sample/field metadata,
research laboratory data, to publication and curation/archiving of data in
the repository.

We particularly seek papers from Africa, Asia, Oceania and South America so
that the OneGeochemistry network can expand, be inclusive of all
geochemists in any country and become a truly global initiative.

Please consider showcasing your efforts in Geochemistry by submitting an
abstract here https://www.scidatacon.org/IDW-2022/submit/
