On 21 October, at 07:00-08:30 UTC, the International Science Council <https://council.science/>'s Urban Health and Wellbeing Programme <http://www.urbanhealth.cn/en/>, in partnership with the CODATA Decadal Programme, Making Data Work for Global Grand Challenges <https://codata.org/initiatives/decadal-programme2/>, is organising a session at Virtual SciDataCon 2021 <https://www.scidatacon.org/virtual-2021/> on 'Collaborative Systems Modelling (CSM): Understanding the Health Co-Benefits of Urban Green Spaces’ <https://www.scidatacon.org/virtual-2021/sessions/302/>. This session will look at the application of the Data-Knowledge-Action approach for systems analysis to case studies relating to urban green spaces and report on a recent workshop.

This session will be of interest to colleagues in the CODATA activities relating to data for smart and resilient cities, and those interested in the use of data in practical real-world problems.  The DAKAS approach is also the subject of the current podcast series in partnership with CEPT University and the Urban Health and Wellbeing Programme <https://codata.org/initiatives/data-skills/codata-connect/cag-cept-codata-and-uhwb-podcast-series-on-data-knowledge-action-for-urban-systems/>.
