Dear Colleagues,

A Task Group under the auspices of CODATA and WDS are collecting information on citizen science (CS) data collection efforts in support of SDGs 6 and 11 in Africa (water, sanitation, and urban planning). We are writing to request your assistance in either forwarding this message to citizen science groups working in urban contexts, or identifying groups and sending us their contact information (web site or email or cell phone number). Example focus areas could be urban agriculture, slum upgrading, or documenting and finding solutions to WASH needs. Here are links to the English survey<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf5bSIuw8RsMCs-_g3fMTJTKyKhhHqsGzFEhbBbzn8tKiEipg/viewform> and the French survey<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfCCH7swtkQ7MHheoOXfOcHyw9IbDhf7DiPkK_Uf7Nj1h3zPQ/viewform> for CS project respondents.

Further questions can be directed to Peter Elias (pelias at unilag.edu.ng<mailto:pelias at unilag.edu.ng>) or Adenike Shonowo (adenikeshonowo at gmail.com<mailto:adenikeshonowo at gmail.com>) of the University of Lagos. Thanks.

Best wishes,

Suchith
