With apologies for cross posting:

Data for Policy 2020 will be held at UCL, London, UK on 15-16 September
2020. This conference series is the premier global forum for multiple
disciplinary and cross-sector discussions around the theories, applications
and implications of data science innovation in governance and the public
sector – see dataforpolicy.org
<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdataforpolicy.org%2Fdata-for-policy-2020%2F%231568269705530-6dcf8ed5-d95f&data=02%7C01%7C%7C0d4a8a49a0c74cea20f908d7ba0d6e11%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637182439145286882&sdata=9kJWAHhPhcOjDpd%2BfF3K7CDpmg1DfhEgxS9IBRHYH6E%3D&reserved=0>
for
further details.

There is much scope for the inclusion of perspectives from archives,
records management and digital preservation in the discussions around data
for policy which encompass aspects such as information governance, data
management, systems and infrastructure and concepts of trust, privacy,
accountability and integrity.

The call for papers is open until 20 April 2020. There are a number of
special tracks, but one that may be of particular interest to the members
of this list is the one on Documenting Data and Data Science: Surfacing
Data Processes and Practices

which
is designed to focus specifically on the link between good governance and
robust data management and documentation (recordkeeping) practices.

All the best,

Jenny Bunn

Thanks,
Asha
