I am a member of the CODATA Early Career Data Professionals - Core Team and I was hoping to find some participants to complete my dissertation research.
In addition to be an active member of the CODATA ECDP, I am also a doctoral candidate at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill leading a research investigation on factors influencing data reuse.
I am currently recruiting participants for my dissertation research regarding data reuse within the DataONE environment, which provides users access to earth science data via an online system.
I am looking for faculty, research scientists, post-docs, or doctoral students in earth or environmental sciences (biology, geology, ecology) to participate in research regarding data reuse. For 45-60 minutes of your time, I will provide a $20 Amazon gift card!
I can meet online via Skype and will share my screen. Participants will look at snippets of information regarding a dataset to potentially reuse. They will be asked to discuss what information they need to determine if the dataset is reusable, and there will be a short survey.
Please contact me via email at amurillo at email.unc.edu<mailto:amurillo at email.unc.edu> if you are interested in participating. I look forward to hearing from you.
