[CODATA-international] CODATA 2016 General Assembly: Draft Agenda and Candidates' Statements

The CODATA General Assembly (11 September, Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel,
Denver, Colorado, USA) is very close.



The DRAFT Agenda has just been published at

Committee, delegates from CODATA National Members, Union Members and

The General Assembly will undertake two particularly important activities
in CODATA governance.  These are:



1) The election of Officers and Ordinary Members of the CODATA Executive
Committee.  See further information below.



2) Selection of Task Groups.  Information to follow.



*1.1) Election of Officers and Ordinary Members*

Delegates at the 2016 General Assembly will vote to elect the Officer roles
of Secretary General and Treasurer as well as eight Ordinary Members of the
Executive Committee.

In the interests of time, we will not have ‘hustings’ or presentations from
the candidates.  For this reason, it is particularly important that members
and delegates consult the candidates documentation (nomination form etc)
