Dear CDIF WG, AG, and Community,
Following up on Simon’s email below, I would like to confirm that the two follow-up meetings have been scheduled for 4 March, as per his instructions, at 15:00 UTC and 21:00 UTC.

>
> To the CDIF WG, AG and Community;
>
> We had a very useful briefing meeting on Monday 8 December, to discuss the progress that was made at the Dagstuhl workshop in November. We would now like to follow up on this with calls on 4 March. We propose to hold two meetings, one at 15:00 UTC and the other at 21:00 UTC. I hope in that way we can accommodate a larger range of timezones.
>
> The meeting will follow up on the work of the Dagstuhl groups, including that of the CDIF-4-XAS project, as well as providing an update on the work on documentation, communication and governance.
>
> We will also discuss next steps… In that context, I am very pleased to communicate that the CDIF4EOSC proposal was successful (with a stellar 15/15 review score). We have embarked on the Grant Agreement Preparation process and hope that the project will start on 1 June or thereabouts.
>
> In summary, the project will extend CDIF beyond the current profiles, develop a CDIF playbook and a set of tools to support implementation and test and refine this iteratively with a set of use cases. This is a huge opportunity to further extend and refine the CDIF recommendations, and to situate CDIF at the heart of EOSC developments, while also linking to other aligned activities and implementations globally!
>
> I trust by the time of 4 March meeting we will be able to give you a briefing on the project plans and how we can ensure that the CDIF WG, AG etc a an integral part of the activity and advice around the project and that - while meeting its objectives and serving to advance EOSC - the project also addresses our shared vision for CDIF.
>
> A calendar invitation for the calls on 4 March will follow.
>
> With very best wishes,
>
> Simon.
