[cdif-community] CDIF as ePub?

The content of the epub ZIP seems all to be legitimate. However, it only includes these five chapters: Introducing CDIF, What is CDIF, Who can use the CDIF?, The CDIF workgroup and How to contribute.

I'd been planning to download the jupyter-book tools (because that seems to match what I see in the CDIF Github repository). As far as I can see, we can then tweak the generation to use sphinx to produce an epub.

I'll try this soon.

Here is an EPub from oe of the many online converters, benerated from the Markdown, We have not made this available in that form - we would have to look into this a bit deeper.

The CDIF is available at https://cdif.codata.org/<https://cdif.codata.org/> as a PDF and as Markdown pages. I personally find it much easier to read books as ePubs (scalable font sizes, etc.). Is there wider interest in a copy in that format? I was thinking of hacking one for my own use, but it may be easier to generate it more directly as part of CODATA's build process for publishing updates - I don't know whether regular updates are expected, but there are various "tbd" sections, so I assume it's seen as a living document.
